At the heart of the ICRCA is a meaningful exchange between risk and crisis communication practitioners and academics. We firmly believe that action-based research and translating the science to actionable findings simultaneously builds better theory and contributes to a better society. We demonstrate our commitment to this objective in several ways:
- Making the Journal of International Crisis and Risk Communication Research (JICRCR) open-access so that it can be readily available without paywalls.
- Publishing proceedings from the annual International Crisis and Risk Communication Conference.
- Working to develop a set of multi-media assets on Perspectives in Crisis and Risk Communication that can be used for academic and professional development purposes.
